Sonically, the album reflects the evolution of Morgan and her band, who, after four years of performing together, have embraced a harder, rawer sound. The signature “Gruftpop” that Mia Morgan once coined has given way to heavy guitars and alt-rock drums inspired by early 2000s metalcore and nu-metal. With silber, Morgan hasn’t simply found a new niche—she’s created one within the German-language indie universe.
