We’re excited for the annual World Hits vs. Punk Rock concert featuring Those Foxy Mullygrub Kids, Shark Maps, and Longest Line!
Before the music industry ironed out the biggest hits by the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Depeche Mode, or the Beach Boys into radio-friendly mainstream numbers, these milestones of music history had one thing in common: they were fantastic punk rock songs. The Mullygrub Kids bring the necessary rough energy to deliver these “original versions” back to you on stage as authentically as possible.
Shark Maps have their roots in the hardcore punk of the ’90s. Building on that foundation, they’ve evolved musically and along the way written a few small anthems that stick in your head. Sitting somewhere between noise and pop, their sound recalls bands like Hot Water Music, Grade, or Touché Amoré. This spring, Shark Maps were in the studio—so a new album is on the way.
When a band names itself after a NoFX song, you know it’s going to be fun. That’s definitely the case with Longest Line. A damn solid act—we can’t wait!
